Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness
- Desmond Tutu
These HOPE necklaces are the outcome of pondering a lot of thoughts, feelings, and emotions during quarantine in 2020.
I found myself reflecting a lot on how I had gotten through hard things in the past, and it came down to one thing: HOPE
If we can't find hope, things can seem scary, unpredictable, and we find ourselves making up solutions that we have zero control over.
THAT IS NOT HELPFUL.... to you OR anyone else you love and care for.
Do you know anyone who is struggling to let go and accepting a situation for what it is?
Pertaining to Covid, do you know anyone who is a small business owner, a health care worker, a community based living employee, a grocery store employee, a teacher, a student, eldery, immune compromised, already ill, a widow, someone who lives alone, English as a second language, unemployed, a delivery driver, anyone who is working the front lines, someone with a mental illness?
I know you do. And there is more.
Bottom line is we are all affected by Covid.
We all have different experiences with it and reactions to it because we are all wired differently.
But, that does not mean that we don't all have some HOPE to cling to.
The most beautiful part of this virus coming into all of our lives is the collective compassion that we can all experience together.
Covid or not, we are all guaranteed to face difficulties in our lifetime.
But, that doesn't mean those difficulties will last forever.
Let's spread some HOPE around!
Maybe you know someone who could use a day brightener.
Together we can lift one another up with this sweet little symbol of HOPE.
