Why overthink it?

This bold necklace with a geometric pendant is a reminder that simple touches can make the biggest statements.

Ever since I went to school for jewelry design and metalsmithing, I've been drawn to clean lines and angles and simple geometric shapes.  

I think there is something predictable about knowing where your eye will naturally look when you see a piece of jewelry like this.  

But, I like to mix things up.

I think at the core of who we are is not a simple and predictable human.  

We may do our best to come across that way, but, reality is, you have no idea what's  going to happen in 5 minutes.  

I took the predictable clean shape of this rectangle and softened it with some texture and let the corners of the metal organically curve as I was fabricating it. 

I LOVE the contrast of the delicate looking 14K Yellow Gold-Filled cable chain with a seemingly simple shape, that creates this organic dimension between and texture and the black oxidation of the Sterling Silver pendant.

This signature mixed metals, classic K Kay Designs necklace, can make a statement worn on it's own.
